Join us for the “SUN Microsystems Academy day” scheduled the first week of December 2008. The Event will be held in four of Lebanon’s TOP TEIR universities (BAU, LAU, NDU, and UOB) and will be a 2 hour long in presentations, from 12:00 to 14:00 in each University; however the sponsors’ booths will be set from 9AM till 3 PM.

The main purpose of this awareness event is to introduce the student body (students and faculty members) in Lebanon, to the Open Source activities and how they can benefit from the free open source technology inside the universities. We will be also emphasizing on the Student’s Market Readiness, along with an introduction to selected products such as Solaris and JAVA.

In addition to the valuable know-how and awareness, the “SUN Microsystems’ Academy day” will include lots of valuable giveaways; Sponsors will be available to distribute discounts vouchers, freebies and gadgets. The event will conclude in a draw where several lucky students from each university, will have the chance of winning different valuable prizes.
